If I will given a chance to change a part of our Philippine history,I want to change the part when the spaniards abused us for being a Filipino.And if not for them,the lives of our ancestors will not be that miserable as servants to other country .Even if they contributed to us new knowledge and new things,it doesn't mean that they had helped us to be a good Filipino.In the time that we were under the rule of the spaniards our own language was forgetten and as expected they change it in favor to their own language.Although even me would like to thank those people for giving us a lesson and that because of them we had changed for the betterment of our own selves.!

I am very impressed with the depth and thought you put into your post. Colonialism was definitely a dark period for the whole world. Filipinos are strong and can ALWAYS smile and despite the painful history, the Philippines remains one of the friendliest, most hospitable places on earth.
The xample you gave of "losing our language" is a very powerful example. Well thought out and good job.
